Estimating Done Right was started by David Nichols after decades in the claims restoration industry helping to manage other restoration companies, overseeing their estimating process, teaching and mentoring four separate staffs of estimators in construction techniques and the estimating process.

Our number one principle is “Well written and organized estimates, tell the story of the claim better, are more defendable, and get settled for more money, benefiting everyone.” We are dedicated to exactly that; providing the most thorough, best organized, best priced and defendable estimates available.

Our second principle is that we are a ‘team member’ of our client. Therefore, our priority is making them more successful in what they do. For a Public Adjuster it is help them settle the claim faster and for more money. For the contractor it is helping them settle the claim for a better scope of work that includes a better profit margin for them.

The estimates we provide, do this through more thorough evaluation of the claim, better estimate organization, better explanation of the line items used, and more notes on the diagram to better visualize the damages present.
